Futrix Freedom, also referred to as “Freedom,” is operated by Futrix LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Freedom, a financial independence progress tracking app.

1. Information We Collect

Freedom may collect information that you enter into the app or that is generated through your use of the app, including anonymous app identity data, optional personalization information, manually entered financial planning information, check-ins and history, analytics and app usage data, diagnostics and crash data, and support information you choose to provide.

2. Financial Planning Information

Freedom may collect financial planning information you manually enter, such as asset input mode, account or asset names and categories, balances, FI assets, total assets, excluded assets, monthly investment, Freedom income, expected return, inflation, safe withdrawal rate, currency, Freedom Days, Estimated Freedom Date, Days Until Freedom, and FI Progress.

Freedom does not connect to your bank, brokerage, retirement account, payroll provider, or credit card accounts. Freedom does not collect brokerage login credentials, bank login credentials, account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax documents, or government identification.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain your Freedom plan, calculate Freedom Days, Estimated Freedom Date, Days Until Freedom, and FI Progress, save check-ins and history, personalize the app experience, store private app data, sync or restore data if cloud storage is enabled, improve reliability and performance, provide customer support, maintain security, and prepare future aggregated comparison features.

4. Firebase and Third-Party Services

Freedom may use Firebase and other service providers to operate and improve the app. Firebase services may include Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Cloud Functions if added later. These services may process information necessary to provide authentication, data storage, analytics, diagnostics, and app functionality.

5. Private User Data, Analytics, and Aggregated Data

Private user data powers your personal app experience and is not shown to other users. Analytics data helps us understand product behavior and improve the app; we aim to avoid sending raw financial values to analytics systems. Future comparison features may use aggregated or de-identified cohort statistics, but individual user profiles, balances, check-ins, and financial records are not shown to other users.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with service providers that help operate the app, to comply with legal obligations, to protect rights, safety, or security, in connection with a business transfer, or with your consent. Freedom does not publicly display your individual financial data.

7. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Freedom may store data locally on your device and, if cloud sync or backup is enabled, in cloud services such as Cloud Firestore. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, improve the product, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your app data by contacting support@futrix.app.

8. Your Choices and Children’s Privacy

You can choose not to provide optional personalization information, update certain settings in the app, and reset your plan if the app provides that option. Freedom is not intended for children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Financial Privacy Notice

Freedom helps users track financial independence progress, but it does not connect directly to financial institutions. You should avoid entering information the app does not request, such as bank or brokerage login credentials, account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, exact addresses, or tax documents.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact Futrix LLC at support@futrix.app. Website: https://futrix.app.
